About us

Happy Rainy Paws is a small, registered kennel established in 2020 under the Bulgarian Federation of Cynology (БНФК/BNFC) and FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale), owned by me, Yanitsa „Yani“ Karapeneva.

I lived in Germany for 10 years, and since 2022, I have been back in Bulgaria. In addition to being a Dalmatian breeder, I am also an animal behaviorist. In 2019, I successfully completed a distance learning program in „Animal Psychology: Keeping Animals, Animal Care, and Animal Behavior Therapy,“ focusing on various animals, including dogs, cats, small mammals (such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, chinchillas, and degus), and horses.

My journey with Dalmatians began in 2003 when my father gifted me my first Dalmatian when I was just 8 years old. Since then, I have fallen in love with the breed and started collecting items with Dalmatian themes. In 2019, I decided to pursue professional breeding of Dalmatians and became a member of the Bulgarian Dalmatian Club. In our club, we support one another and celebrate each other’s successes.

My first kennel’s beautiful female, Spotmaniac Divine Design, is from Spotmaniac Kennel located in Sofia, Bulgaria. My goal is to preserve the breed while striving for perfect health, excellent behavior, temperament, and great stamina.
